Ethnicity
In a simple term, who am I?
People here say I am Taiwanese, cause yeah I was born and raise there; rarely, I'll hear people say I am Chinese, which make sense too, based on the fact that it is the culture me and my family is practicing.
So who am I?
I am definitely, completely proud of being a person from Taiwan. I mean I would give anything for the freedom we have. I am difinitely glad that my family moved from China to Taiwan with Chiang Kai-shek 60 years ago. At the same time, I am completely egotistic about being a part of one of the greatest and oldest culture in the world. Chinese culture is just in my blood, you can't take that part away from me.
Do I have to take sides?
It was never a issue whether I'm "Taiwanese" or "Chinese" till the election comes around. No, I do not want Taiwan be a part of China, even though I do admire my Chinese root, yet I love my freedom more. I love Taiwan, even though it can be a shit hole sometimes, but it is the place that made me who I am, and I am damn proud of my own country. And NO, I am not going to support any body who use their ethnicity to make themself standout. I am tired of people arguing about being Taiwanese or Chinese, or loveing Taiwan or not. What does it even means to say you are Taiwanese? Does that make you love Taiwan more then like... me? We are all in the some boat, I want the best for the country and so are you. What makes you think that since I don't scream about "I am Taiwanese" so I don't care about the country I grow up in? Why can't I just being a proud Chinese-Taiwanese instead of trying to pick a side?
It is the 21st centry in the end, the whole world is a melting pot for all kinds of ethnicities. Why in the hell would you even care about if I am Chinese or Taiwanese? Why would that be the reason for you to use it to against me?
What's my ethnicity? I am designed in China, assembled in Taiwan, programed in Taiwan and United States. That's who I am.

Spoiled
I got spoiled by all of my lovely friends. Thank you all for coming to hang out with me, no matter you are in the picture or not. You guys not just made my day special, but also made my life meaningful. :)
And thank you my dear, thank you for calling from the other side of the pond and the beautiful song you sang. It was great, I loved it. Sum it up, you pretty much completed my day. ;)
